Xmas was in Cambridge this year. Shane & I arrived on the 22nd of Dec and the boys were quickly put to work helping dad with some of the chores that he wanted done before xmas!. This involved a whole lot of heavy lifting... moving stone, planting gardens removing trees etc etc! Mum & Dad's place was looking great for xmas day.
Xmas eve was the standard family xmas - big dinner with presents from under the tree! Craig, Karina & Baelei came up from Taupo for the evening to do the xmas thing which was great! Really nice to catch up with them. Xmas day was awesome the Shaw side of the family headed over and we had even more food, a few drinks and lots of presents! Secret Santa was in full force andeveryone got spoilt with fun gifts - The snatch & grab concept didnt really take hold... maybe next year!
Xmas night bought more food and plenty of drinks - Wes & Joy, Denise & George and the kids came over and we proceeded to eat, drink and talk for quite some time! Xmas was fantastic - have eaten and drunk way tooo much so now we need to start planning the diet!
