The life of a mum on maternity leave is proving to agree with me at the moment. Quinn and I are still at the bach enjoying summer... we have been here for a month now and are just making plans to head home... home being Raglan - so back to the beach for us - what a life!
The weather here has been fantastic, we have had beautiful hot days and fairly constant sunshine. The fishing hasnt been quite so amazing but we have definitely been getting a feed. Quinn is changing everyday, he has new tricks now which include rolling over the minute he gets on the ground, sitting up by himself and generally making an attempt to grab everything that is within reach. It really wont be long until he is off an into everything which is a scary thought!
So plans for the next little while... we have a couple of weddings in Wellington both of which we are really looking forward to, Mum's 50th birthday party is coming up so there is a bit of organising to do for that, Quinn and I are thinking we might head to Melbourne for a couple of days to catch up with the Portinscale girls if things are going to go to plan and of course Paula B is home from London for a few weeks in March so there will definitely be some catching up to do there!
